Financial Assistance

In addition to the funds available through private banks we have several local sources to assist in putting together a business loan. All of the loan programs below will be used to provide gap financing up to 40% of the total project costs. Other business loan programs may be available depending on the type and needs of the business.
Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District
NENEDD operates a business loan program and has provided business loans to over a hundred businesses in northeast Nebraska in the last five years. City of Columbus LB840 Business Growth Fund
The City of Columbus has two loan programs for business loans for industrial related businesses. Loans are generally made for the purchase of buildings, acquiring other businesses and equipment.
