The business alliance of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Central Community College-Columbus Campus is committed to helping you build profitable businesses. We have many programs set up to provide the assistance you need. Following are key sources and contact information:

Entrepreneurship Programs at Central Community College – Columbus Campus
The rewards of being your own boss are great, but so are the challenges. If you want
to own your own business, Central Community College offers entrepreneurship and other
business courses to assist you in business development and skills needed to get started.
You can learn about opportunity analysis, marketing, finance, taxes, legal issues, and
even develop a business plan. The college also provides Incubator support systems.
An 18-semester-hour entrepreneurship certificate is included in the CCC business administration.
You can complete the certificate as an area of specialization within the business administration
program or as a stand-alone certificate to develop entrepreneurial skills and develop a business plan.

SCORE
The Columbus Chapter of Senior Core of Retired Executives (SCORE) offers free counseling to persons
considereing a business start-up or looking to grow their business. Our members come from various retail, service
and industrial companies.
Many have worked as managers and owners in sales, engineering, accounting, apparel, construction, trucking, restaurants, and many other varied businesses.
